My love of travel began with weekend trips to Toronto with my mother to see the ballet. Those early getaways sparked a sense of wonder that never left me. Years later, when she treated my kids and me to a trip to Disney World, everything changed. She handed me two “insider” guidebooks and asked me to take a look. Two weeks later, I had devoured every page and planned every moment of our four-day park pass — down to the minute! My kids wanted to sleep in, but I was determined we’d be at rope drop every day. It was exhausting… and I absolutely loved it.
As my children grew, travel took a new shape. My youngest became a competitive fencer, and we began traveling across the country for national tournaments. Each city became an opportunity — not just to compete, but to explore. We visited every zoo we could, soaked in local sights, and made unforgettable memories along the way.
Soon, I found myself helping at the fencing club, planning travel for the coaches and organizing logistics. One day, the club owner said, "You’d make a great travel agent." Over the years, I heard it again and again — from friends, family, even total strangers.
With the support of my husband, my family, and so many others who saw this gift in me before I saw it in myself — I took the leap.
